TCG CD Release Party Saturday October 2nd at Hell's Kitchen MPLS!

Ah, the wait is almost over! October 2nd is going to be one hell of a Saturday night at Hell's Kitchen! Come on out for our album release party on Saturday night. We'll be playing songs from the new album plus a few older TCG songs as well as a few unreleased songs. We've got a great opening band, Steve Sullivan & The Factory opening the show. They kick out the folk blues rock with a jammin' 5 piece band. If you haven't been to Hell's Kitchen in Minneapolis, you've got to come on out and find out what the buzz is about. I also wanted to let you know that we've been getting some more press this month. Check out the Pioneer Press's music column this Friday. Ross Riahala is putting in a burb about our album release party. Thanks Ross!! Also, my old home town's newpaper, the Isanti County news ran an article about the band and some news about my work on Tommy Lee's new Methods of Mayhem album in this past Wednesday's edition! Troy's on Tommy Lee's new album & TCG CD release party!

Hello!

Got some cool news to share! The Tommy Lee album I've been talking about for the last year is finally out! It dropped Tuesday 09/21. I got a signed copy on Monday and ripped it open quicker than a child opening a present on Christmas morning! My guitar parts made it on to 3 songs, Drunk Uncle Pete, Blame, and Only One. Man, that was so cool to see my name on a major label world wide release and with a rock star legend like Tommy Lee no less! It doesn't get much better than that for guys like me! If you want to get a copy Target is carrying it and you can buy it online as well. Go out and get it, Methods of Mayhem, A Public Disservice Announcement. Next inline is news about our trip to play in Milwaukee to the IMMMS music summit. I'm not one to complain online but a lot of you asked "how did it go"? The only thing I can say is it was an unorganized fiasco! They cancelled our full band performance and changed it to an acoustic set at the very last minute, said they did not have PA available. WTF, a music summit without a PA? Needless to say me and CJ played acoustically anyway at a club call Tuttos in Milwaukee. We did meet a few movers and shakers in the biz and received some compliments so we'll take the best from the worst and work with what we've got. Also, something else that should be noted, it was mainly for Hip Hop and urban style acts. Oh, they did highlight us on their web site so we've got that going for us. LOL!

Finally, mark your calendars for our album release party for the new Troy Castellano Group "2010" CD. The party is Saturday October 2nd at Hell's Kitchen in downtown Minneapolis. We are headlining that night with Steve Sullivan & The Factory opening up the show. The music starts at 10:30. $5 cover gets you in the door for both bands! Also, HK has 5 star dinning so if you want a late dinner I highly recommend it!
